Fall Into St. Michaels with the Halloween Celebration and Great Pumkin Festival :
The annual Halloween Celebration in St. Michaels will have a colorful explosion of decorations lining Talbot Street. There is a Sports Boosters’ 5K run/walk at St. Michaels Elementary School.
Also, everyone can enjoy the Great Pumpkin Party, where master carvers will turn massive gourds into works of art, the Pumpkin Pie Competition will deliver delectable culinary creations that will go on sale after judging. Don't miss the pies and other seasonal baked goods that go on sale afterwords!
Make plans to grab a delicious lunch from Sports Boosters who will be serving up Pit Beef at St. Luke’s Church. The little munchkins will be welcomed to join us at the St. Luke’s Kids Pumpkin Patch where they’ll find tons of fun, games, face painting, apple bobbing, crafts and treats.
Or, feast your eyes on the imaginative masterpieces being created by the St. Michaels High School Carvers as they work along Talbot Street transforming giant pumkins into works of art before your very eyes.
Just east of the gates of St Luke’s cemetery, prepare to be thrilled by the outdoor showing of the original"PHANTOM OF THE OPERA" on a big screen, under the harvest moon. Chairs will be available but you're welcome to bring lawn chairs or your own refreshments. Presentation is free and open to the public. Popcorn and beverages will be also available for small fee.
Ghost Tours will be available for $10, at 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm starting at the Visitors Center at the intersection of Mill and Talbot Streets. For a perfect ending to a perfect day, relax with the family, under the stars, just east of the cemetery of St. Luke’s Church for the showing of the original "Phantom of the Opera" starring Lon Chaney.
Get ready to feast your eyes upon the St. Michaels Grand Halloween Parade. Little ghouls, goblins, princesses and all other holiday characters are invited to enjoy "trick or treating" at the St. Michaels merchants along Talbot Street.
